Matland Developments was founded by Leon Ireland and Cory Matthews, combining more than 35 years of industry experience across civil construction, land development, quantity surveying and project management.
With extensive experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, Leon and Cory bring together practical construction knowledge, commercial expertise and strong project leadership.
Their hands-on approach ensures every project is managed with a focus on quality, efficiency, accountability and successful delivery.

WHO WE ARE.
Matland Developments is a proudly New Zealand-owned and operated civil construction company with more than a decade of industry experience, delivering residential, commercial and major development projects.
Our experience has been built through delivering complex civil construction works across a diverse range of projects. We bring the people, resources and practical expertise required to manage challenging construction environments and deliver with confidence.
Our capabilities span earthworks, stormwater and wastewater infrastructure, roading, retaining, access, water reticulation and utilities, supported by experienced project management and hands-on construction capability.
We work closely with developers, principal contractors, engineers, consultants and project teams, providing practical solutions, clear communication and reliable delivery throughout every stage of construction.
